On Saturday, August 4th, Galleria Carnaval will be featuring the artwork of Walter Torres and Sharlyn Sanchez from ACOMA PUEBLO. Walter will be demonstrating his carving technique from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. His stone carvings have won multiple national awards and a recent piece took Best of Show for his mind boggling mobius strip 'What's not to Love?" He also has a Best of Show piece on display from a native art show in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Come in to see this fantastic Alabaster Bear. On Saturday, several of his carvings will be on display. Sharlyn will be showing her amazing pottery in various forms, and much of it will be on sale. Don't miss the chance to see these wonderful friends.
